A Fellow Human

I believe that when driving it’s important to keep in mind the lives of the people within each car around us…

To take time t think of how the person just two cars over may be experiencing the worst hurt of their life, and how they are desperately just trying to get home with tear soaked sleeves. 

While someone else up ahead may be excitedly on their way to a fancy dinner with their boyfriend unknowing that they will be proposed to just a few hours from now. 

Or how the guy behind you could be contemplating driving back to his apartment to end his life after losing his job. 

While the car just behind him is joyfully rushing to tell her husband about the child she just found out she is pregnant with.

Each intricately woven life around us has all the same level of unique experiences as each of us.

But I think sometimes it’s easier to see them as just a car driving too slow or cutting us off rather than a fellow human living life for the first time as well.
